Toolproof
Marketing accountability for your business

Find the time and money your marketing isn't earning back.

Measure what matters.
Make more of what you have.
Make your marketing accountable.

The problem

Most marketing leaks value in two places: the tools you underuse, and the results you can't measure.

The Tools A business owner at her laptop, looking frustrated as she thinks through a cluster of marketing tools — email, social, analytics, and more.

You're paying for software you barely scratch the surface with.

Most businesses have already invested in capable marketing software - a CRM, an email platform, analytics, maybe a social or ads tool. The trouble is that many use more than a fraction of what those subscriptions can actually do. The features that would save you time and reveal what's working are sitting one level deeper than anyone has had time to explore. So month after month, you keep paying the full price for a portion of the value.

Sound familiar?

  • You picked tools because they "did everything" but you're actually doing very little with them.
  • You know there are reports, automations or integrations you've never set up, but you don't know where to start.
  • You're quietly paying for things you can't even remember signing up to.
The Proof A small business owner in an apron standing in front of his coffee van, looking puzzled at a tablet, with marketing charts floating in his thoughts.

You're spending time and effort on marketing without knowing what's truly working.

Marketing is the only line in your accounts where most business owners can't tell you, with confidence, what each dollar earned. Campaigns get launched, content gets posted, ads get run - and the answer to "is it working?" comes back as a shrug, a screenshot of likes, or a number from a dashboard that nobody acts on. That's not just a measurement problem. It's an accountability problem: if you pay someone for your marketing, they don't carry the cost when it misses.

Sound familiar?

  • You can tell me how much time or money was spent on marketing last quarter, but not what it produced.
  • You're measuring clicks, likes or leads, but you couldn't honestly say which of them turned into revenue.
  • You haven't asked your agency, freelancer or in-house person a hard question about results in a while, partly because you're not sure how to phrase it.

The fix

We tackle both leaks: put the measurement in place to track your marketing performance, then we properly put the tools you already pay for to work.

First, we make your numbers trustworthy...

You can't act on figures you don't trust, so we sort that out before anything else.

  • Pre-Inspection. A free, five-minute scoring exercise so you know where you stand before we speak. Take the Proof Score →
  • Initial Inspection. A more detailed look under the hood and a detailed read on where you stand.
  • Foundations. We form your measurement from scratch, or fix what is already there, so every decision that follows rests on real numbers.
  • Start, or Restart. Once the foundations hold, we are cleared to begin.

...then we run the Proof Loop

A simple cycle that repeats for as long as we work together. Every turn, your marketing has to earn its place.

A circular diagram showing the four steps of the Proof Loop: Decide, Act, Measure, Prove — arranged as a repeating cycle.
  1. Decide. We pick the one change most likely to pay off, and we say up front what we expect it to return and by when. No vague promises.
  2. Act. We do it, help you do it, or hand it over for you (or a partner) to run. This is where an underused tool finally gets put to work, a campaign goes live, or a broken process gets fixed.
  3. Measure. We capture what actually happened, in the numbers that matter — not likes and clicks.
  4. Prove. We hold the result against what we predicted, in time or money, then use what we learned to decide the next move.

What that means for you

  • The software you already pay for finally earns its keep.
  • You can say, with confidence, what your marketing dollars bought.
  • You get sharper with every loop, not more dependent on us.

Why Toolproof

Three things we do differently.

Numbers that end in a decision.

The deliverable is not a dashboard, it is a decision. We read your data, tell you the story it's trying to tell, and leave with one decision made.

An honest broker for your marketing money.

Your existing creators and agencies stay. We are a neutral, technical second pair of eyes on whether your investment is returning what it should.

You become smarter, not stuck.

We build independence, not dependency. Every engagement leaves you more capable of reading your own numbers.

Meet Rob Jefferson, the founder

Rob started Toolproof in 2026. He's based in Karratha and works with businesses across the Pilbara and wider WA.

He has spent years catching good businesses and organisations waste good money on marketing they struggle to measure and racking up costly software licences that don't deliver value. Toolproof is the answer to that problem, built from the Pilbara outward.

Rob has worked in-house and agency-side, with both public and private sector experience.

Out of work, you'll find Rob enjoying the stunning scenery of the Pilbara by bike or by foot, and supporting the local community at times of crisis through his voluntary role at the Karratha State Emergency Service.
