Toolproof (ABN 18 878 662 154) is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit toolproof.com.au, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
We collect two types of information through this website:
Usage data — pages visited, time spent on the site, referring URL, browser and device type. This is collected automatically via cookies if you consent.
Contact information — if you call or email us directly, we collect the information you provide (name, email address, phone number) in order to respond to your enquiry.
We do not collect sensitive information and we do not collect information from children.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site. We only set non-essential cookies after you have given your consent via the banner on this site.
Google Analytics — measures site traffic and behaviour. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with their Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time using Google's opt-out tool.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures the effectiveness of our advertising on Meta platforms. Data is processed by Meta Platforms Inc. in accordance with their Privacy Policy. You can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook Ad settings.
Google Tag Manager — a tag management system used to deploy the above tools. GTM itself does not collect personal data.
Cloudflare Turnstile — a bot-detection service used on the Proof Score form to distinguish real users from automated submissions. Turnstile may process your IP address and browser signals to assess whether a request is human. No personal data is stored by Toolproof as a result of this check. Data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. in accordance with the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which means Google tags only activate after you have accepted cookies. If you decline, only anonymous, cookieless signals are sent.
